Gatheredtable Privacy Policy

At Gatheredtable, we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes the types of personal information we may collect, how we may use this information and when (under certain circumstances) we may disclose this information. Please read our Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using any Gatheredtable Service. This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into the Terms and subject to the provisions of the Terms. Information We Collect

There are different ways in which we may collect information when you interact with our Services including when you:

  • Interact with other Gatheredtable members or users;

Also, please be aware that third parties, such as companies displaying advertisements on the Service, or Site or services provided by third parties (“Third-Party Sites”) that may be linked to or from the Service, may set cookies on your hard drive or use other means of passively collecting information about your use of their services, Third-Party Sites or content. How We Use Your Information

We only use the information that you provide us in order to provide you with the products, services and information you request. E) We may publicly disclose the name, city, and state of the winner of any online contests or sweepstakes that you may choose to enter on our site.

  • Aggregate usage metrics (such as total number of visitors to the Sites and pages viewed and application usage and downloads);

Protecting your Information

We have taken several measures to protect your personal information. Our servers use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), an advanced encryption technology that works with Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 3.0 and above), Netscape Navigator (versions 2.0 and above), AOL (AOL 3.0 and above), and many other browsers.

SSL is considered the industry standard and is among the leading software available to encrypt online transactions. Your personal information is encrypted so that it cannot be read as it is transmitted over the Internet. Regardless of these efforts, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Therefore, any information you transmit to us is sent at your own risk.

Gatheredtable uses the third-party payment platform, Stripe, the Stripe API, and in conjunction, your Stripe account to process credit and debit card transactions for your Gatheredtable account. Gatheredtable is a “Partner Application” as defined in the Stripe Terms of Service. By using Gatheredtable and agreeing to the Gatheredtable Terms, You also agree to be bound by Stripe’s Terms of Service. You expressly understand and agree that Gatheredtable shall not be liable for any payments and monetary transactions that occur through your use of the service.

Children’s Privacy

We do not intend, and the Website is not designed, to collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are under 13 years old, you should not register for our Services or otherwise provide information on our Sites. If we become aware that we have collected personally identifiable information from a user of the Site who is under the age of thirteen, we will remove that child’s personal information from our files.

Use of Cookies

The Gatheredtable website may use "cookies" to help personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server.
