Prep: 1. Trim/chop green beans. 2. Peel and thinly slice shallots. 3. Smash garlic cloves with the side of your knife. 4. Juice and zest lemon. 5. Chop basil. Make: 1. Warm a skillet over medium heat. Once warm add olive oil. 2. Once oil is warm, add shallots and garlic and cook for 5 minutes until the shallots are translucent. 3. Add green beans, lemon juice, zest and water. Cover skillet with a lid and cook for 3-5 minutes until green beans are cooked through, but still al dente. 4. Toss with chopped basil and season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
