Prep: 1. Trim green beans. 2. Chop almonds. Make: 1. Bring a steamer pot to a boil. 2. Add green beans and cook until just tender, 3-4 minutes. Transfer to a serving bowl. 3. Meanwhile, brown butter: Melt butter in a skillet or small saucepan over medium heat. Stir butter with a wooden spoon as it starts to foam and sputter. 4. Remove butter from heat as soon as it begins to turn golden brown, ~1 minute. 5. Add 2 teaspoons lemon juice, almonds, and salt. Swirl skillet over heat for 30 seconds more to toast almonds. 6. Spoon mixture over green beans and serve.
