Prep: 1. Slice garlic, carrot, and scallions. 2. Smash ginger. Make: 1. Bring broth, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and carrot to boil. 2. Cover, reduce heat to medium, and simmer for 10 minutes. 3. When ready to serve, add dumplings and peas into pot and increase heat to high. 4. Cover and cook until the dumplings are heated all the way through, 4-5 minutes. 5. Toss in scallions. Adjust seasoning to taste. Serve.
