Homemade Mac & Cheese

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup parmesan
  • 1/2 cup onion, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 pound penne
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Directions

Prep: 1. Preheat oven to 350 and spray an oven proof dish. 2. Boil water for pasta. 2. Grate cheese. 3. Mince garlic and onion. Make: 1. Cook pasta according to package instructions (when pasta is done, drain and return to pot) 2. Heat heavy cream in saucepan on medium. 3. Add grated cheddar cheese, onion, garlic, salt and pepper to cream and stir until cheese is melted. 4. Mix this together with cooked penne, bread crumbs, and grated parmesan. 5. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
