Prep: 1. Preheat oven to 375. 2. Cover 2 cookie sheets with foil and grease the foil liberally with butter. Make: 1. Melt butter in heavy saucepan over low heat. 2. In bowl, mix the oats, flour, salt and sugar. 3. Stir melted butter into the oats mixture, then add corn syrup, milk and vanilla. 4. Create round cookies on the prepared cookie sheets using the mixture. 5. Bake for 5 minutes, until lightly brown. Remove from oven and let cookies cool, then gently peel off the foil. 6. While cookies cool, melt chocolate chips in same saucepan as the butter (less dishes to wash :) ) 7. Pair up the crispy cookies with a buddy of a similar size and shape. 8. Gently spread melted chocolate onto the flat side of half of the crispy cookies and top with the matching cookie.
