Prep: 1. Juice lime, chop onions. Make: 1. Place the shrimp in a food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Add in the Worcestershire sauce, lime juice, green onions, salt, pepper, oregano and breadcrumbs. Pulse until well combined. 2. Form into 4 patties and let chill until set, about 30 minutes. 3. Once chilled, heat the olive oil in a large skillet. Add the patties, and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 6-7 minutes total. 4. Meanwhile, slice avocados and toast buns, if desired (either in a dry skillet, or for 2 minutes under the broiler). 5. Serve on buns with avocado.
These are deceptively good. We'll admit the shrimp mixture seems a little weird, but trust us, it's worth it!
