Ingredients

  • 1 12-oz bag frozen corn
  • 1/2 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • sea salt and black pepper, to taste

Directions

Make: 1. Place corn in pan on medium-high heat with a pat of butter or coconut oil, stirring frequently. 2. Cook until corn begins to brown slightly, about 5-8 minutes. 3. Season with salt and plenty of black pepper, to taste.

Notes

"My mom made this all the time growing up with lots of butter to caramelize the corn, it was my favorite side to a grilled steak. In college I started making it all the time with coconut oil for a super easy carb side." -Mariah, Gatheredtable Staff
