Prep: 1. Slice steak 2. Chop mushrooms (if using), onions, and cilantro 3. Mince or grate ginger 4. Chop cilantro. Make: 1. Sprinkle beef with salt and pepper. 2. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. 3. Add ginger and mushrooms; stir-fry until mushrooms are tender, about 3 minutes. 4. Add beef to skillet; stir-fry until beef browns but is still pink in center, about 1 minute. 5. Add snow peas, half of green onions, and half of cilantro; stir-fry 1 minute. 6. Stir in hoisin, chili-garlic sauce, and five-spice powder; sauté until peas are crisp-tender, 1 to 2 minutes. 7. Transfer to serving bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with remaining green onions and cilantro.
Also great with asparagus instead of snow peas. Shiitake mushrooms are great in this if you can find them!
