Prep: 1. Preheat oven to 400. 2. Halve and core pears. 3. Melt butter. Make: 1. Swirl butter in 9” x 13” baking dish to coat bottom completely, then arrange pears, cut sides down, in a single layer in dish. Roast until tender, about 20 minutes. 2. Gently turn over pears, drizzle vinegar over top, and roast until very tender, 15-20 minutes more. 3. Serve ricotta alongside pears drizzled with cooking juices, honey and pepper.
Fruit for dessert never tasted so good! We also love it with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
