Grilled Spiced Cauliflower

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into steaks or large florets
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro

Directions

Prep: 1. Preheat grill to medium high heat. 2. Cut cauliflower into steaks or large florets. Make: 1. In a small bowl, mix together all of the spices. 2. Brush cauliflower well with oil and rub with spice mixture. Set aside. 3. Once grill is hot place cauliflower over hottest part of the grill until it begins to char, about 3 minutes per side. Then move the cauliflower to the edge of the grill (where its cooler) and continue to grill until tender, flipping occasionally, about 10-15 minutes, 4. Meanwhile, chop cilantro. 5. Serve cauliflower topped with sprinkled cilantro.
