Divine Salmon--Baked Or Grilled

Ingredients

  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1.25 pound wild caught salmon fillet
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1.5 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme

Directions

Prep: 1. Preheat oven to 350 (or heat grill). 2. Chop thyme. 3. Mix all ingredients (except salmon). Make: 1. Place salmon in baking dish, pour on oil, rub on spice mix. 2. Bake (or grill) for about 10 minutes at 350 (or to desired doneness).

Notes

If you have avocado oil on hand give it a try in place of the olive oil to truly make this dish shine! "Moving to the Pacific Northwest has made me even more affectionate about salmon.
