Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 4 bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 4 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 4 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Directions

Prep: 1. Bring water to a boil with a pinch of salt. 2. Slice bananas. Make: 1. Add oats to boiling water, reduce heat to maintain a simmer/low boil and cook, stirring occasionally until done, about 5 minutes. 2. Divide oatmeal between bowls and top with peanut butter, sliced banana and cinnamon

Notes

This recipe is extremely versatile, make it your own by using steel cut oats, buckwheat grouts, or quinoa and your sweetener of choice.
