Oatmeal with Blueberries

Ingredients

  • 2 cup rolled oats
  • 4 cups water
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 cup blueberries
  • 4 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 4 teaspoons maple syrup

Directions

Prep: 1. Boil water for oatmeal. Make: 1. Add oatmeal and a pinch of salt to the boiling water, reduce heat to a simmer, and cook for 5-7 minutes. 2. When oatmeal is done, divide between bowls and top with cinnamon, maple syrup, and blueberries.

Notes

This recipe is extremely versatile, make it your own by using steel cut oats, buckwheat grouts, or quinoa and your sweetener of choice. A great and healthy breakfast!
