Ingredients

  • 4 slices whole-wheat bread, lightly toasted
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 beefsteak tomato sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
  • sea salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

Directions

Prep: 1. Toast bread. 2. Slice tomatoes. Make: 1. Spread ricotta onto toast. Then top with 3-4 slices of tomato and 3 basil leaves. 2. Drizzle with oil, and season with salt and pepper.
