Prep: 1. Grease the inside of your slow cooker. 2. Peel and grate apple. Make: 1. Combine all ingredients in your slow cooker and cook on low for 7 hours. 2. Serve!
Serve this with any additional desired toppings. We love extra milk and extra cinnamon. Depending on how sweet you like your oatmeal you may want to add additional maple syrup or brown sugar. The cooking time for this is a little more sensitive than most slow cooker dishes so you may want to experiment once during the day and start checking the oatmeal at 5 hours (try just to eyeball it through the glass lid since lifting it will change the cooking time). Tiny slow cookers often come free with larger ones (or find one at your local Goodwill, there are usually tons!) and are perfect for making small servings of this! A great healthy breakfast!
