Prep: 1. Preheat oven to 300. 2. Wash kale and dry well. Remove stems and tear into large bite-size pieces. 3. Toss kale with olive oil and sea salt to taste. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet. Make: 1. Bake for 10-12 minutes, stirring once, just until crisp. Some ovens may take longer but check early because they are easy to burn!
This is a fun way to use up your extra kale before it goes to waste. We love using purple kale or lacinato kale -- try different kinds to see which you like best! Turn it up a notch by adding red pepper flakes for a little kick.
