Prep: 1. Boil water for pasta. 2. Cut lemon in half, zest and juice one half and slice the other. Make: 1. Add 1 tablespoon of salt and the linguine, and cook according to package instructions. 2. While the pasta cooks, melt butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute (the garlic burns easily so keep and eye on it). 3. Add shrimp, 1 teaspoon of salt, and the pepper and sauté until the shrimp have just turned pink, about 5 minutes, stirring often. 4. Remove shrimp from the heat. Add parsley, lemon zest, lemon juice, lemon slices, and red pepper flakes. Toss to combine. 5. When pasta is done, drain cooked linguine and then put it back in the pot. Add the shrimp and sauce, toss well, and serve.
