Buttery Mirin Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces button mushrooms, halved
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 cup unsalted chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon mirin
  • sea salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

Directions

Prep: 1. Halve mushrooms. Mince garlic. Make: 1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. 2. Add halved button mushrooms and minced garlic; cook 3 minutes or until mushrooms release their liquid. 3. Add chicken stock and mirin; cook 2 minutes or until liquid is syrupy. 4. Season with salt and pepper.
