Ingredients

  • 2 inches fresh ginger
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey, optional (more to taste)

Directions

Prep: 1. Thinly slice ginger root, juice lemon. Make: 1. Add ginger to saucepan with water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 5-10 minutes depending on how spicy you would like the tea. 2. Strain out ginger and add lemon juice and honey just before serving.
