Quick Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients

  • 3 cups confectionersÂ’ sugar
  • 1 stick salted butter, allowed to soften to room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons milk (plus more, if needed)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Prep: 1. Make sure butter and milk are at room temperature. Make: 1. Beat together confectioners sugar, butter, milk, vanilla with an electric or stand mixer for 1 minute. 2. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and beat until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.

Notes

If frosting is too stiff add milk, just a little at a time, until it reaches the desired consistency. Add food coloring as desired
