Prep: 1. Rinse shrimp. 2. Juice lemon. Make: 1. Make cocktail sauce by combining ketchup, horseradish and cayenne. Adjust ratio as desired. Set aside. 2. Combine Old Bay seasoning, butter, and water in a large pot and bring to a boil. Add shrimp and turn heat down to medium. Cover and cook, stirring once, for 3-6 minutes or until shrimp are pink. 3. Remove shrimp from water and serve immediately.
We like to use half beer and half water for this recipe but it's by no means necessary.
