Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups carrots
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 large onion, quartered and pulled apart
  • 2 pounds beef roast
  • 3/4 cups celery
  • 1/2 pound yukon gold potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 1 bay leaf

Directions

Prep: 1. Cut/chop: onion and potatoes. Make: 1. Place roast into slow cooker and surround with vegetables. 2. Combine beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, then add to slow cooker with bay leaf. 3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

Notes

Quick and easy in the crockpot. A juicy roast with potatoes, carrots and onions. We like to thicken the pan juices with 2 tablespoons of flour mixed into 3 tablespoons of cold water to make a tasty gravy to serve with this meal.
