Prep: 1. Mix garlic and soy sauce. 2. Cut pork into large chunks and marinate in sauce for at least 30 minutes, and up to overnight. Make: 1. Heat pot on stovetop; add marinated pork and cook a few minutes. 2. Add water, cloves, and peppercorns to pot; simmer 40-60 minutes. 3. Add in vinegar and simmer 12-15 minutes more. 4. Season with salt/pepper to taste, and serve.
