Prep: 1. Cut broccoli into florets. Make: 1. Boil water in a large pot and steam broccoli a few minutes or to taste. 2. Toast sesame seeds in a dry pan over medium heat 2-3 minutes, until fragrant. 2. Combine 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and soy sauce. 3. Toss steamed broccoli with sesame mixture, and garnish with remaining 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds.
This simple twist on basic broccoli gives is one of our favorites! If you have dark or toasted sesame seed oil on hand it is great in place of the regular sesame oil here.
