Prep: 1. In a large pot, bring 8 cups water and 1 tablespoon salt to a boil. 2. Cut broccoli into florets.. 3. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, mustard, garlic, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, and the pepper. Make: 1. When the water comes to a full boil, add the broccoli, return to a boil, and cook over high heat for 1 min., until just tender. 2. Drain and place in a large bowl. Pour dressing over the broccoli and toss well. 3. Splash with a generous squeeze of fresh lemon juice, sprinkle with salt, and serve warm or cold.
We love this served hot in the winter and cold in the summer.
