Prep: 1. Cut off tough stems of the broccoli and cut the rest into 2-inch pieces. Rinse and drain well. Make: 1. Heat olive oil in a large pot. Add garlic and cook over low heat for 4-6 min., until golden brown. 2. Remove garlic with a slotted spoon and set aside. 3. Add broccoli to the hot oil with red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Cook covered over medium-low heat for 5-10 min., turning occasionally, until the stalks are tender but still al dente.
