"Homemade" Focaccia

Ingredients

  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 shallot, cut into thinly sliced rounds
  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • pinch of sea salt, to taste
  • parchment paper

Directions

Prep: 1. Preheat oven to 400. 2. Chop garlic and shallot. Make: 1. Roll pizza dough into rectangle on sheet of parchment paper and place on baking sheet. 2. Using a pastry brush, cover top of the dough with olive oil. 3. Sprinkle dough with coarse sea salt, garlic, and shallot. 4. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

Top this with any fresh herbs you have on hand. Rosemary, thyme and sage are some of our favorites.
