Prep: 1. Mix flax seed and water, place in refrigerator until needed. 2. Drain and rinse chickpeas. Make: 1. In a food processor, pulse the chickpeas, green chilies and parsley until finely chopped. 2. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in the breadcrumbs and salt and pepper, to taste. Stir in the flax seed. 3. Form the mixture into four patties. 4. In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-low heat. Cook the burgers for 3-4 minutes per side.
